Who We Are
Hortense Wesleyan Church is a fellowship of Christians who assemble for worship, prayer and discipleship in the Hortense, GA community.
Our purpose can be summarized with the following three words:
- Praying: Communion with our Creator and Redeemer.
- Growing: Maturing in our knowledge and practice of the faith.
- Reaching: Sharing with others the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Where We Assemble
Our facility is located just one block off of Highways 301 and 32 in "downtown" Hortense.
Accountability
Our church is a local fellowship of the Wesleyan denomination.

Hortense Wesleyan Church is excited to welcome Pastor Richard Smith as our new Pastor! He, his wife Christy, and five children, began their ministry here on September 2, 2018.
